Poetry Preserve

As a I child I always yearned to write fiction, given that reading it was my number one hobby and pleasure.

Numerous attempts at short fiction produced work I couldn’t credit.

It wasn’t until high school that I could love and respect my own writing, and when I did, it was poetry.

Four years of increasingly committed work culminated in a book of poetry that I’m still proud of 20 years after I started writing.

Here’s a sampling of creative writing from my formative years:  selections from a slender, self-published book, “North of Annapolis.”
